How to Disable/Enable Store in OLO

Request: Manager needs to disable a restaurant in Olo

 

  1. Log into Olo (If you do not know your credentials, contact senior management or open a ticket).
  2. Click Filter and from the top bar and select your restaurant brand. (Restaurant MPs and Regional Managers will not have this option)

  3. Click Settings from the left menu
  4. Click Enable/Disable Store
  5. Select the restaurant from the Select Store window (Restaurant MP's will not have this option)
  6. Click the green Confirm Store Selection button.
  7. Type in an Internal Reason for the disable.
  8. Schedule a re-enablement time (default is 1 hour).
  9. Select a Public Message to display to guests ordering online.
    • Default: Online ordering is unavailable at this time. Please use the location finder to try another location nearby.
    • Inclement Weather: This location is currently closed due to inclement weather conditions.
    • Observance of a Holiday: This location is currently closed in observance of the holiday.
    • Remodeling/Construction: This location is currently closed for construction and/or maintenance. Please use the location finder to try another location nearby.
  10. Click Disable Store
    1. This will disable restaurant ordering for Olo, Uber Eats, and DoorDash immediately.

To Enable the restaurant:

  1. Click Settings from the left menu
  2. Click Enable/Disable Store
  3. Select the restaurant from the Select Store window (Restaurant MP's will not have this option)
  4. Click the green Confirm Store Selection button.
  5. Optional: Type a reason for re-enabling the restaurant.
  6. Click Enable Store.
