How to 86 / un-86 Menu Items in OLO

Request:  You are asked to 86 / un-86 menu items in Olo

 

  1. Log onto Olo using your credentials.  Note: if you do not know your credentials, please contact your management or open a ticket.
  2. Click Menus, on the left menu

 

 

  1. Click Manage Stores for your brand

  1. Check the correct restaurant(s)

IMPORTANTBe sure to select ONLY your restaurant, as selecting anything else will affect other restaurants

 

 

  1. Click Next 
  2. Click Search Menus on the right menu. 

IMPORTANT: Do not click Reindex Menus

 

 

  1. Check Fuzzy match and Options,
  2. Type the name of the item you wish to 86/un-86 in the Find box
  3. Click search

Note:  If the item does not show up, select Product instead of Options and search again.

 

  1. 86’ing Item (Perform for each item you want to 86)
    1. Click 86 Availability

 

 

    1. Check Mark the item(s) as 86’d and schedule an un-86’ date
    2. Select tomorrow’s date to automatically un-86 the following day

 

 

  1. Un-86’ing Item (Perform for each item you want to un-86)

Note:  A unavailable (86’d) note will show next to the item that is 86’d

 

    1. Click 86 Availability

 

 

    1. Check Mark the item(s) as un-86’d

 

 

    1. Click Save

Note: To see the results click Search again.

 

  1. Close the browser when you are complete
